Saving data (Test Variant) in Test data directory in SE37 while debugging through New Debugger

In most of the cases while testing any Function Module, we manually enter the test data in SE37.  

It is very much difficult to enter the manually for some of the BAPI’s. With New debugger we can save the test variant while debugging.

Below is the procedure to do the same.  

Step 1: Create a sample program and use the Function module for which we have to save variant.  

Step 2: Execute the program.  

Step3: Single Step debug (go inside the FM)  

Step 4: Click on Services of the Tool on the right of the screen  

Click on Save Parameters as Test data and give the title  

Go to SE37 -> Execute -> Test data directory ->
