How to attach documents to an ABAP Program

...Previous

Text Symbols: A00 – HELP Files and Documentations (For the Frame Title Text in Selection Screen)

Rest all text is present in the code itself. You can follow your own programming standards.

Now execute this program. The selection screen looks as below

Now click on the push button; HELP File

This shows the pop-up with the different help files attached via OAOR T-Code.

Please note; you can design this pop-up as per your need. You can use Pop-UP ALV, Table Control, etc.

I have kept it simple for this tutorial.

Now Double Click the file that you want to open. In this case, I am opening SAP Technical JPEG Image.JPG file

The system prompts the selected file and opens it

If the file, does not open, it’s possible that you have missing authorizations. Run SU53 immediately after running this program.

The authorization needed is for BDS_LOC2. Authorization Object is S_BDS_D.

I am attaching a SU53 screen shot for your help

You can open the other files in the same way. These files save automatically in the SAP Working Directory.

Conclusion: Thus with this method, you will be able to attached advanced and detail documentations, HELP Files etc to any Custom ABAP Program

The users can execute the program with ease and will not require asking you for the documentations.
