Web Dynpro Application to update the Communication details of the employee into HR Infotype 105

Communication Infotype 105 will hold the different communication details of an employee such as Official mobile number, Official mail id, Fax number, Pager number, Personal mail id and so on. This application is a sample on how to update this infotype by using Web Dynpro ABAP component.

Step 1:

Go to SE80 select Web Dynpro Comp from the drop down and give the component name as ZHR_TEST_UPDATE and press Enter. Then click on Yes to create the Web Dynpro Component.

Step 2:

Give proper description and click on the TICK button to create the component.  

Step 3:

Assign proper package and Transport Request to the component and save it.

Step 4:

Collapse Views and double click on the MAIN view to design the layout for the component.

Step 5:

 Design the Layout like this with the Label and Input field UI elements. Use buttons for submitting the data into the Infotype.

Step 6:

 Go to component controller click on the context tab to create the nodes and attributes to be binded with the UI elements designed.

Step 7:

Give the Node name and click on the Tick mark to create it. Since the attributes which are going to be created under this node are of one to one relationship cardinality can be 1:1.
