Integrating BI 7.0 with PI (XI)

Now Log on to the ID (Integration Directory) to Configure the Objects.

Create a Configuration Scenario and Create a Business Service for Sender and Import a Business System that which we have already created for BI7.0.

Business Service: BS_XItoBI

Business System: SAPBIW

 

Now create a sender file Adapter under the Business Service BS_XItoBI.

 

Create a Receiver RFC Adapter under Business System SAPBIW to Communicate BI7.0. 

 

Create a Sender Agreement

Create Receiver Agreements:

Create a Receiver Determination

Create Interface Determination

 

Activate the objects. 

Step3: Test the Scenario

Place a file data.xml in the Folder E:/SAP_XI_TEST/OK

      <CalDay>1995-03-25</CalDay>
   </DATA>
</ns0:MT_DataToBI>
Check the SXMB_MONI in PI

 

Now check the PSA in BI7.0. 

Click on Data Source and say Manage PSA

Now Select the Info package XI_BW Integration and say PSA Maintenance

 

Now your Data is successfully placed in PSA of BI7.0.

 

Note:

Apart from this scenario we can do using Proxies also. Proxies have to be generated in BI7.0.
