Client Copy of Standard Text using SCC1 and RSTXTRAN

By Rahul Manoj Mahajan, John Deere India

Whenever we want to move client dependant objects from one client to another we can use transaction SCC1. In this case we want to move the Standard text created using the tcode SO10. Standard text can be copied to another client using SCC1 but for that we need to first create the TR and then using RSTXTRAN locked the standard text in TR and then run the SCC1 in destination client and put the TR and source client and execute.

Let’s first create the Standard text using transaction code SO10 as follows.

Click on Create and then write the test which you want to use for business requirement.

Click on SAVE and then you will realize that the Standard text is getting saved but system did not ask for any Transport number.

Hence, Create the TR using SE09 transaction as follows.

Click on Ok and following screen will appear. Enter the description and click on SAVE.

It will create the Workbench Request and then you can see the task as Unclassfied.

Change the type using Request/Task -> Change Type.
